Knut Larsson

In Knut Larsson's fictional world, a dog is living within every human, just as if it was an endogenous organ. But, it doesn't seem to have any vital functions like the heart, lung, or liver. The Canimus' purpose remains a mystery, which leads Mr. Cedemark to think that he might be able to live without it just as well. Like one could live on without an old friendship one has gotten so used to that it doesn't seem to have any meaning at all anymore.
The old myth of the merchant of souls, most thrillingly told anew in Larsson's claustrophobic drawings.

Knut Larsson was born in Stockholm 1972.
Studies in film and art. Book debut Canimus in 2001 followed by Lokmannen (Engine man) 2004 and Kolonialsjukhuset (Colonial Hospital) 2006.
After two years of teaching at the Kvarnby school of comic arts, Knut Larsson is living in Stockholm. His new book Krokopolis (The City of Crocodiles) was coming out in 2008
His work has also been seen in C´est Bon Anthology, Galago, Glömp, Strapazin and Stripburger.
